When you are in distress it is a good starting point to discuss this with your GP. There are local NHS services that the GP can refer you to. However, you may be considering choosing a Clinical Psychologist privately, to try and get help more quickly. If there is a lot of risk, it may be more appropriate for you to seek help via the NHS where there is a multidisciplinary approach. We would be considering this as part of our screening when you ask for our help.

Deben Psychology prides itself in taking an integrative approach, whilst holding in mind the evidence base and your personal experiences. That means we will consider different approaches, which we are trained in as Clinical Psychologists and will consider the most helpful way forward with you. Treatment can be offered virtually or face to face. Treatment will usually involve some goal setting, so we both know what you are working towards. Appointments will last around 50 minutes.
