As a Clinical Psychologist she is trained to work with a variety of difficulties and has training to work with individuals across the lifespan. However, she is also used to offering clinical supervision, reflective practice and training.

Emmeline is keen to promote a sense of wellbeing for individuals and help people understand why they might be struggling and help people find solutions. Emmeline takes a collaborative, compassionate and honest approach with people. Emmeline tends to take an integrative approach to her work, whilst also holding in mind the evidence base and the individual’s personal experience.

Emmeline also has specialist training to assess individuals for autism using the DISCO approach. She also has additional training in CBIT an approach to help individuals with Tics and Tourette’s Syndrome. During Emmeline’s doctoral training, she received teaching on many different approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy, systemic approaches, narrative therapy, mindfulness, personal construct psychotherapy, psychodynamic approaches, neuropsychological aspects, and insight into cognitive analytic therapy.
